Well I broke my laptop...the motherboard to be more specific...ugh!! I can't believe I have been without a laptop for a couple weeks and am still! I was like permanently attached to that thing. Now I have to share dh's computer until I can get a new one. It will probably be a while too, they aren't exactly! I've been looking at several new one's, a newer version of the one I had and a Sony Vaio. I'm still not sure what I'm going to get. I'm hoping that something really great will go on sale right before I buy one. My luck it will be right after though..ugh!!

Not for me, but for my bathroom. It's in need of a remodel really, really, really bad! The floor needs replaced, the sink needs replaced..I'm hoping with one of those vessel sinks, the walls need painted, the bathtub needs replaced. Basically it needs to be gutted. I was just telling dh the other day that I can't stand it anymore. Hopefully he'll call around and start getting some estimates on what it will cost to replace the floor. I'm thinking we can do the rest of the remodeling stuff ourselves and cut down on costs. I'm hoping that we will at least get started on it this summer, and by next summer I will have a brand new bathroom to escape to when the kids are driving me!

It can't be, no it just cant?!?! Next month I turn 30. It seems like just yesterday I was a teenager and thought 30 was old..not! I guess time flies when your having fun, or should I say...getting married, having kids, and enjoying life. I know for the next month I will dread the day that I make the big change from my twenties to my thirties, but I expect to fully enjoy and accept my thirties. It may take me a little while, but I'll get there..eventually! LOL!

Well tomorrow I'm going to start counting calories and keeping a food journal. I am going to try to lose at least 30 pounds by August. I would be happy if it were more, but 30 is my goal. I have to get busy doing something. Being fat is really wearing on me...emotionally and physically.

My cousin just had a gastric bypass the other day. I'm a tiny bit jealous. I know that she is going to be just gorgeous in mere months. I am determined to lose my weight the old fashioned way though. I have looked up and read a ton of stuff on surgery and weight loss pills like a Alli, and a phenphedrine review. I've decided that the best way for me is to just do it the hard less and move more.

So wish me luck tomorrow, I'm going to need it, lots of!

A Twilight addict that is...I LOVE IT!!!!! Now please take into account that I am not a big reader at all. I rarely do and when I do, it's usually a kids book. I read the first Twilight book in 4 days. I was reading 5 plus chapters a night! That's like huge for! You know it's a good book when I read it in 4 days!

I am now reading the second book in the series "New Moon." So far it is just as good as the first one. I have to say I am a big Edward fan...he's just so dreamy...for a!! Now you know what I'm doing every night around 11:00 or so...swooning over Edward. I'm such an addict!!!

So have any of you read the Twilight series? Don't you just love them? Who's your favorite character?

One of these days I would like to take the family on a weekend trip up to Mackinac Island. It's an interesting place to visit. The hubby and I spent part of our Honeymoon there. What's interesting about the Island is that there are no vehicles on the Island. You either walk, bike, or take a horse wherever you go. I have to imagine that bicycle shops, stores that sell horse supplies, and shoe stores are big business! It's so fun though!

When you walk down the main street and there are only bikes and horse and kind of feel like you've gone back in time. There is an old revolutionary war era Fort on the island that you can explore and even watch a reenactment. For the ladies, there are a ton of gift shops, you could shop 'til you! If you ever do go...make sure you get some fudge, they have the best!!
Hopefully we will get around to going this year. It's a ton of fun!

My family is currently watching America's Funniest Home Videos. I love this show. It's been on forever, but is still hilarious to watch. I even like watching the reruns that I've seen a hundred! I remember watching it when I was a kid with my mom, and now I get to watch it with my kids. Kaitlin loves it! I'm sure Cameron will love it when he gets old enough to appreciate a good crotch kick, a cat getting attacked by a bird, or a guy in a mask jumping out of a closet to scare a poor unsuspecting So have any of my readers ever submitted a tape? I wanna know!

Anyone interested in genealogy? I dabbled in it for like two seconds a long time ago, but never really got into it. My dad's side of the family is really easy. My dad's mom was Native American and my dad's dad was German. My Native American side has been researched fully by my family and I even have copies of our family tree. An interesting tidbit of information is that I have a Indian Chief, Chief Pontiac, in my bloodline. Pretty cool huh? I think so. He was my great, great, great, great, great grandfather.. I! That's a lot of greats.. I tried getting dh to believe I was like Indian royalty and should be treated as such...his response..."whatever your highness".....such disrespect...LOL!

I was reading a little bit about genealogy today and learned that they now have ancestry dna, where you can get your DNA tested to help you with identifying your ancestry. I thought that was pretty neat. So if you are interested in finding out about your ancestors I would definitely recommend's very interesting, and who knows you might end up being me..wink wink..LOL!

Happy Easter to everyone!! Did the Easter bunny stop by your house last night? He did ours, and he brought way too much!! Well, I hope you have a great day relaxing, eating, and taking a long nap. That's what I'm planning to! I'm also hoping that the kids fall into a sugar induced coma by 8:30....keep your fingers crossed for me!!! LOL!

Ok, I don't have any exact numbers, but I do know they weren't very! I think I made about $300.00 in March. Now considering that I didn't put much effort into, that's not too shabby. I think I made most of it from my new design site, Designed by Jen. I am hoping that every month my earnings from that will grow, even if it's just by a little bit. I really like doing it, so that's what I would love to make most of my money from eventually. Makes sense, I think.

Working at home has definitely helped our pocketbook. Whether the money goes for bills, groceries, new Dansko shoes, clothes for the kids, and mostly recently our vacation, it has helped a LOT. I'm so glad I started, and so is my! I hope that in another year my design business will be booming and I won't know what to do with all the business...Wishful thinking? Maybe...but hopefully!

Hope this isn't the Easter! Cause that would be one scary Easter Bunny.

Our vacation was fun, we went on a dolphin cruise, went to the beach, and enjoyed a lot of time with our family. My brother and niece we won't see again until next year at my niece's graduation. There were days of Wii Golf tournaments that involved a good share of yelling and taunting...all in good fun, of!

There were a few days that both Matt and I didn't feel so good. Too much eating out I think. I think we both could of used a good Colonix or something. It got pretty bad...LOL!!

We picked up the dog on Sunday morning..I almost cried...yes, cried. I missed her! She was VERY happy to see us. She had a nice stay at the puppy resort though. The guy said he even let Patches follow him around a few of the she got a little extra special treat. I was very happy to hear that.

Things are starting to settle down a little bit, I still have a ton of cleaning to do. I'm procrastination blogging...LOL!

So I was looking in the mirror this morning and noticed that I brought home some unwanted souvenirs. I got new glasses FINALLY, and I noticed that I had some new blackheads right where the nose pieces lay on my nose...ugh!I hate those little buggers. Although, I secretly enjoy popping! I know SO GROSS!!! You can forget I said! It's a good stress reliever and I need all the stress relief I can get..ugh!

Back Home

Well we got back home this past Saturday. It's cold, it's snowing, and I'm ready to go! I have a ton of crap to clean and take care of. The kids are do I say this nicely....Oh, I can't....They're being little monsters...LOL! I'm ready for another vacation..without kids this time. *Sigh*
