The other day my mom and I took the kids to an ice cream shop. It made me think about my first job at the local ice cream place. It was one of the best jobs ever. Not for my waist of course! I ate way too much Superman ice cream, and had one too many chocolate malts...lol! They were delicious!

It was my first job though, and I was really nervous about it. I'm not really sure why..it wasn't a hard job at all. I do remember I was nervous about working the cash register. It was a simple register too..I did fine with it though and went on to use many more..like these POS systems. Funny how a few years can make a big difference.

I wouldn't mind working in a ice cream shop again. I wouldn't of course...it would be horrible for my diet...lol! I can't resist the Superman ice cream. It calls out to me...I swear! LOL! What's your favorite ice cream? Or what was your first job? Leave me a comment!

When did you start to get wrinkles? I'm only 30 and I swear I'm starting to get some. Maybe I'm just overly paranoid, but I swear I'm getting them around my eyes. It's just something else to worry about when I'm up half the night because I can't sleep..lol! I guess I need to start doing some research on the best wrinkle creams out there. I'm afraid once I lose weight that if I do have wrinkles they will show even better, cause they won't be all plumped up from the fat..lol! I know...that sounds gross. Ok..I need to quit worrying about this and go walk on the treadmill....

This is definitely the way to make an entrance at a wedding...Very funny and cute..

Today has been the worst, as far as it has rained ALL day. It was raining when I woke up, it rained through lunch, took a brief break, and is now raining again...and will probably still be raining when I go to bed....ugh! I hate rain...it's so depressing. Makes me want to curl up in a ball and take a nap. Which I did...lol!

I have really been exercising the last two weeks though. 5 days a week for the past 2 weeks. I feel great. Now if I could just remember to take my diet pill. I keep forgetting though. I spent all that time researching what was the best weight loss supplement and I can't ever remember to take the darn things..lol! That's ok..I'm happy with my exercise...Like I said, I feel so much better. My back feels a ton better! Better than its felt in probably a good year probably...which is awesome! Now if I could just get it to stop raining..that would be really great!

I'm kind of bored right now. There isn't much on tv tonight, it's mostly reruns. The kids will hopefully be going to bed in half an hour and then its going to get real boring. "Tattoo Highway" is on at 11:30 though, and I don't think I've seen the episode that is playing tonight. I love that show! If you've never seen it, definitely try to watch it. It's on A&E on Wednesday, so definitely look for it. It's awesome....you'll love it! I promise!

Ok back to reruns and lawyer commercials for mesothelioma. I hope nobody I knows ever gets that..cause it doesn't sound to pleasant....

I haven't updated earnings in a while now...honestly because there really isn't hardly enough worth mentioning..lol! I think over the past couple months I've only earned a couple hundred dollars each month. Which still does help out a lot, but it's nothing compared to what I was making 6 months ago. Which is kind of depressing. I keep searching everyday for new things though, so I'm not giving up. I still have some stuff to keep me busy...so I'm gonna concentrate on those things for now. That in addition to the kids that keep me more than busy..lol!

Today has been pretty boring, so I thought I would do a post about something fun! Something to get my mind off of my boring everyday life. Like a vacation!! Wouldn't that be fun and most of all....not boring! The hubby and I have discussed many, many times about going on a cruise. The hubby's whole family went on a cruise once. It was a family thing, and of course we didn't have the money to go. I was bummed..lol! My brother has been on a cruise. Seems like everyone has went on a cruise but us. I think its our turn! Our turn to enjoy the fun and sun...and food! Our turn to relax on a beach somewhere or shop....shopping is fun.

So I think that maybe over the next year or two we should save up the money and start looking at all the different Caribbean cruises there are. There are a bunch of them. I'm thinking the Bahamas though! I can definitely see myself there...Ahhh...it's nice just thinking about it. The sun, the water, the white sandy beaches.....it would be heaven. So have any of you went on a Caribbean cruise? Where did you go? Did you have fun?

Have you ever said that? Or wanted to say that? I've been saying that all week. I've been stressed, tired, stressed, mad, sad, oh and did I mention stressed. Bills are piling up, everything and everyone is getting on my nerves, and I would just love to take off for a weekend, WITHOUT the kids of course. Wouldn't be stress-free if we brought them...lol!

I wish we had a rv. Something we could just pack up and go! That would be a blast. Maybe one year we will have one. That would be awesome. An rv would also be great for camping and for family vacations. Hmmmm..the more I think about it, the more I want one. Have to start putting some money in the savings account. Definitely would be worth it in the end.

For now I will have to settle for the few tiny moments of peace and quiet I get at the end of the day when the kids are in bed. The minutes may be short, but they are nice. What do you do when you're stressed and can't leave? How do you stay calm and cool? I would really like to know...

Today was the memorial service for Michael Jackson. I bawled for a good two hours. It was filled with many touching speeches and performances by Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Brooke Shields, Usher, Lionel Ritchie, Berry Gordy, Smokey Robinson and many more. What really got my tears flowing though, was when Michael's daughter, Paris, just 11 years old, got up and spoke. She said he was "the best father you could ever imagine." I think that was the most touching moment of the whole memorial. It was so sad to watch the service, but it was definitely a must. It is history, and will be talked about and remembered for the rest of my life and beyond, I'm sure. If you missed the memorial you can click here for some of the video.

Happy Fourth of July weekend!! I hope everyone is having a fun and safe weekend. We had a delicious barbecue, and in a little bit are going to go outside and light off some fireworks off in the driveway. Fun, fun! I'm sure the kids will love them. They will be small and piddly, but the kids will still love them...ahh to be a kid under 6...still so easily impressed...lol!

I love the holidays, especially the ones you get to eat at...lol! The next really big holiday of course is Thanksgiving..mmm..Turkey Day..as we call it around here. It's a day to eat, nap, and then shop the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. Ahh good times. Of course that is in preparation for Christmas. I can't believe this year is already half over. It seems like just yesterday was New Years. Before I know it will be Christmas, and then New Years again, and then this time next year I will be saying the exact same thing...." I can't believe this year is already half over." Why does the time have to go by so fast?! I guess I should start saving money for Christmas....ugh! I don't even want to think about Christmas shopping...lol!

Well, I hope everyone enjoys their weekend. Have a fun and safe holiday!!!!
