A few days ago the kids were playing outside, running through the sprinklers and such, just normal, fun summer activities. They've been spending a lot of time outside this summer and I realized that I have taken hardly any pictures of them. Usually this time of year I take a ton of pictures, hundreds and hundreds every month....too many really..lol. I usually would spend a couple hours a week just going through pictures, deleting the bad ones, and organizing them into folders and stuff.

Anyways, I realized a few days ago that I don't have hardly any pictures from this summer, because I am really tired of our camera. It's only a few years old, well actually probably closer to 5 or 6 years old. It still takes a decent picture, it could be way better though, and the battery dies really quick, even with fresh rechargeable batteries. So, I've been looking at some new Canon cameras and have a few possibilities.

The first one is this little Canon PowerShot, it's really thin and sleek looking and as a bonus it's purple..lol. My favorite color is purple..so it's calling my name in a big way. The other one is this Digital SLR camera....it's more of a professional camera though. I'm not sure if I'm quite ready for that, but it's definitely on my wish list..lol. I definitely need a new camera. I miss taking pictures of the kids, and I don't want to miss any of the cute moments, and it's always fun to look back on the pics and laugh or go "awwww." So a new camera is definitely in my future. I just have to pick one...wish me luck!
