I desperately need a new phone. Mine is going dead all the time, and is hanging and getting stuck a lot. It will just hand on the little time sand thingy..you know what I mean..lol. I have to take the battery out and reset it at least every few days, and its getting super annoying! I've been thinking about getting a htc desire android. It looks super cool, isn't very expensive and it's got a full keyboard. Santa needs to leave me this in my stocking...hint hint ;)

So, on Saturday my mom and I will be running out to do some last minute gift shopping for Christmas. I have to pick up several more things....some zhu zhu pets, some stocking stuffer stuff and even some xerox toner. I'll probably be spending a lot, and that makes me sad..hahaha. I hate seeing the money come out of my bank acct. I think I cry a little inside every time, but the kids are going to be super excited about the stuff they're getting. I can't wait to see their faces on Christmas morning...it's going to be priceless. I'm also wondering what I got for Christmas. I won't peek though, I promise. :)

I think one of the best things about Christmas is spending time with the people that you love. You get to open presents together, share a nice big delicious meal, and then spend the rest of the day enjoying each others company. So, when you don't get to spend the day with the people you love, it's kind of a bummer. It makes me want to go rent a car from alamo car rental and go on a little road trip. It would definitely be worth the money. I think spending time with family at Christmas is way more than important than a silly car rental fee. Hmm...Maybe I should do that. I'll be thinking about that tonight...lol.

I've been laying in bed all day playing games, working, and watching Christmas movies. It's been a really productive day..hahaha. The kids are at their dad's, so I really don't have much to do. I enjoy the quiet a lot, but sometimes it's gets pretty darn boring around here..lol. I've been playing CityVille, a new facebook game, all day. It's probably the most addictive game on there so far, I think anyway. If you haven't already, stay away from it...hahaha. You will get NOTHING done...absolutely nothing..hahaha. Trust me. Stay away!! hahaha.

Well I have the living room pretty much all cleaned up and am ready to dig all those christmas decorations out of the totes. So exciting! The kids are going to love decorating this year I think, especially my son. He's almost 4 this year, so I think he understands it a little bit better this year, and he seems pretty excited. I think once I start pulling decorations out, his little face is going to light up...lol. I can't wait to see it. I'll definitely have to make sure to have my camera out...lol.

Well I'm almost ready to put the Christmas tree up. I've been working the last few days trying to get the living room taken care of and I think I'm just about done. I have a stack of stuff that I have to take to donate one day..and then one other box and a few other odds and ends, and then I'm all done...woohoo!!! I still have a lot of organizing to do though. That's going to take a while. I did work on organizing my room tonight and the kids' toys, and it looks much better. I'm hoping I can finish the living room tomorrow and then this weekend I'll put up the Christmas tree...at least the tree, lights and garland..and then when the kids get home on Sunday they can help me put up the ornaments...they love that. So that will be a fun night. We even have eggnog for the special night..mmmm.

So I had a doctor appt the other day, and while I was there I realized something. Doctors and nurses have the best job. They basically get to wear pajamas all day. Seriously! That's all that scrubs really are..lol. There comfy loose fitting pajamas. How awesome is that.

So I was thinking, maybe I should get myself a pair. Heck my brother in law worked as a nurse's aid for a long time and all he wore was scrubs...at work and at home and everywhere. So I'm thinking he was onto something there..lol. I need to get myself a pair of green scrubs. They're pretty cheap and seem like they would be really comfy. So maybe they are a nurse uniform and no, I'm not a nurse, but who cares! I wanna be comfy!

So maybe while I'm out Christmas shopping next weekend, I'll pick me up a pair. You know they come in all different colors now and even with cartoon characters and stuff on them. Hey maybe I could get Eeyore ones...that would be awesome. Yeah, I'm definitely looking next weekend..lol.

As my little Christmas village has gotten bigger over the years, I've had to adjust how I displayed it. Years ago, back when I had just a few little buildings in it, I just used one of our end tables to set it all up. Then it changed to a bigger table, then our mantle and now we're going to have to just building something for it.

My husband said that if I told him exactly what I wanted, that he would build it for me. So I went online with our clear wireless internet 4gto try and get some good ideas about what I might want. I found all kinds of stuff, including cabinets and things like that built especially just to hold little holiday villages.

I thought about getting him to build a Christmas village display on just a customized table, but I thought that might take up too much room and our collection would outgrow that pretty quickly. So heÕs going to build a cabinet with four or five shelves with plenty of room for our collection to grow!

I am soooo tired. I didn't get hardly any sleep last night. I was up late, then the kids both got up in the middle of the night. I'm sure this excess weight I'm carrying around isn't helping either. I'm about ready to just buy some phentermine or something like it. I can't seem to get my butt in gear. I keep saying I'm going to, but than of course I don't. It really is a catch 22....you want to lose weight, but you're too tired to workout...hahhaha. I know that if I just did it, it would be easier...but ugh. I don't wanna! lol! I need someone to do it for me.....ahhh..if it were only that easy..lol.

I really need to get a new hobby or something...lol. I've been sitting here for a while and am bored to death. It's quiet, the kids are gone, there's nothing on tv. I'm watching an old episode of Seinfeld...lol. I just got done watching an infomercial on creatine powders and am actually thinking I might get some..lol. Those infomercials really know how to suck you in. My dad used to be a sucker for them, he bought so many things off of them...lol. I guess someone has to though, and he's not here anymore, so it might as well be me right? lol! Yeah, I know, I'm trying to justify it, and it's not working..lol. Oh well..I don't need an excuse...hhahaha.

So I've been thinking that I need to start taking better care of my skin. I'm in my 30's now and pretty soon I'll be getting wrinkles..ugh. I don't even wanna think about it..lol. So while I was out shopping last weekend I bought some olay regenerist. I felt kind of silly buying it, but I'm glad I did. Your face is something that everyone sees, and mine is NOT going to be covered in wrinkles, if I can help it..lol. Now I just have to do something about this gray hair....yes I have gray hair...siiiigh. I'm turning into an old woman...lol!! I can cover that up with dye though...thank goodness! LOL!

I am currently home...alone. It's quiet. There is no screaming, crying, whining, fighting, screeching, or anything going on...it's niiiiiiice. Ahhh..I love the peace and quiet. Sure, I miss the kids, but oh my goodness do I love the quiet..lol. I'm going to kick back tonight, do some blogging, watch some tv, and then I'm going to curl up in bed and enjoy a peaceful night of sleep where no one wakes me up. YAY!! Oh I'm also going to eat a butterfinger and not share it with anyone...MUHUWAHHAHA!! lol!
